Foolish Games supports viewing with Sega DreamCast and WebTV

Recent testing has shown that this site is easy to navigate with a Sega DreamCast. WebTV also appears to work (although a bit more difficult). That means that the site is viewable on PCs, MACs, Unix workstations (Solaris, Linux), and set top boxes. Eventually I may add support for wireless phones.. if there is interest, contact me through email (Luke@FoolishGames.com).

FG Releases More Pictures

Foolish Games now has around 165 Jewel pictures online. I am also in the process of digitally remastering each image. Any images without 1 color (brightness/color is off) are recieving attention. I am hoping to add some more pictures from live performances soon.

Update: Rod Stewart Event

Jewel did in fact play Tonight' the Night and The First Cut Is The Deepest. For pictures of the event inclusive of Jewel and Rod Stewart pics check out the following uri...
http://64.12.34.100/frames/News_Events/story.asp?articleID=2776 The uri is located on Atlantic's servers in case the ip address fails. The event helped raise funds for the City of Hope Cancer Center. An Ebay event is scheduled soon to help as well. Please be on the look out for that. Rod Steward also released Human on the Atlantic label which is his first album with Atlantic Records. Of course who can forget some of his earlier work like Leave Virginia Alone, Maggie May, etc.

New Album Update

"Angel Needs A Ride" has recently been rewritten with new music and verses. The song was featured on the vinyl version of POY and was performed as far back as 1994 in San Diego. The new version is under consideration for the new album. The producer for the album has not been decided to date. Jewel has been writing new material as well. It is quite possible that we will see a mix of new and old material similar to the compilation that became the "Spirit" album. The list of songs for the new album has been narrowed down to 36 possible song titles for the album.

Rod Steward Honored with Jewel in attendance

Last night, (2/13/01) Rod Stewart was honored with the Spirit of Life award. The event occured in New York city, with several Atlantic Records artists in attendance. Jewel had planned on performing "First Cut Is The Deepest" and "Tonight's The Night" for the event.
