Jewel in fact did win something at the awards. But I think the real treat was her performance of Angel Standing By. I think it was a glimmer of the "Real Jewel."

I finally got to see my first Jewel Concert the 5th at Meadowbrook (Rochester Hills, MI) It was an excellent performance. I loved it. Anyone who hasn't seen Jewel Live should definitely do it!

Someone showed me an article in Jane magazine stating the origin of the name. Personally It makes me sick but whatever. Supposedly Lilith was Adam's first wife in the Garden of Eden, but was kicked out for being an equal to Adam. (hope this doesn't offend anyone, not my intent.)
