Jewel was featured on MTV's "When Bad Videos Happen To Go Artists." As I recall, she was number twelve for "Hands." Some other artists featured included Madonna, and Prince (stupid batman video). Also I thought that Hands was a good video.. probably her fourth best video behind WWSYS, YWMFM (Sean Penn version), and Foolish Games. I suppose that list dates my taste a bit. It seemed interested that MTV has been showing things like this and one hit/two hit wonder shows. Perhaps they should try showing VIDEOS again. I miss that. Back in my pre teen years.. MTV showed videos.. then Beavis and Butthead came on and that was it for videos. Such a shame!

The You Were Meant For ME (YWMFM) Video was featured on "Top 5 Interactivo" which roughly translated is "Interactive Top 5." The topic was "Top 5 Female Artists of 1996." Jewel ranked at 5 behind Sheryl Crow, Cranberries, Garbage, and No Doubt (at number 1). This information was shared on a Jewel Mailing list. The DVD features 5 songs from Jewel during the Lilith Fair Series of Concerts recorded in 1997. The DVD and Video Cassette is still set for release on April 23rd.

BNN Radio 2 out of the Neitherlands will be broadcasting a Jewel concert recorded at Shephard's Bush Empire in London. The concert was recorded November 14, 1997. The BBC has broadcast this concert in the past. The transmission will begin at 21:00 Central European Time on March 2, 2001. BNN Radio 2 also tends to broadcast on the web.
