Today, MTV dropped by Jewel's home to film some footage for "MTV Cribs." The show displays the "habitat" of many musical artists on the scene today. The show airs at 10PM EST on Thursdays. Jewel's people have stated that the show will most likely air this month, but have not yet confirmed a date. Possibly the 22nd or 29th of this month.
Last Night's episode featured a couple of guys at a Jewel concert trying to rob it for Amnesty International at Rutgers. Some of them make comments about getting their autograph. The lookout wants her underwear. This information came to me through e-mail. As I recall, Sopranos is an HBO series.
Austin City Limits featuring Jewel will air again on March 10th. Check your local pbs station listings for the available times. Goto pbs.org and use the station finder. The show runs one hour in length. This information was posted special by request.
I have just updated the lyrics section. I have put all of my lyrics into a database and the total number of records is 165! A few songs are in the database more than once because of different versions, but most are unique. I have just changed the select statement to sort all of the pages by rating DESC, title. That means that the highest start counts will be at the top of the page in alphabetical order. Today I added a voting system. It is now possible to rank Jewel sites between 1 and 5 stars. This new feature should help out people surfing this site who want to check out more great Jewel content on the Internet. Please vote only once for a site though. I want to make this as fair as possible. The ratings are based on averages. All the numbers from cast votes are stored in a database. When a new entry is added, the ratings are added up and divided by the total number of votes cast for the site. The number is then rounded to 0 decimal places past the Integer and used to calculate the number of stars.
