Jewel's management has denied all track listings, and tentative dates posted on Jewel and related web sites for the new album. The only information given stated that they are "hoping" for a late fall release. I am sure that many fans will be disappointed by this news, but it is already July! I'm sure we can wait a little bit longer.
The Jewel Storytellers episode on VH1 has been cancelled and replaced by Sheryl Crow/Stevie Nicks content. Maybe VH1 will show the Jewel episode again at a later date. The reason is that Sheryl Crow is touring right now, and they want more ratings. At least they are replacing Jewel with another talented artist. As Sheryl Crow's song says "If it makes you happy, it can't be that bad."

Just updated the links page to make it easier to read. There are now "star" graphics to represent the current rating of a peticular site.
The T.V. Appearances section of the web site has been updated through mid-July. I am also working on improving the T.V. appearences area with some type of search functionality. I also did not forget about the discography, just haven't had time to finish it yet.
On the server end of things, I recently changed the setup as a result of too much paging on the swap file. I lowered the amount of memory to the database server and webserver. I also disabled some services that I am no longer using. I am looking into some Unix options at the moment. I may move the site to Sun Solaris 8 for performance reasons. I am trying to find an alternative to ASP (since I can not afford the Unix ASP runtimes). I have been considering PHP 4, JSP, or just using servlets without a host environment. Any suggestions on this would be very helpful.
MTV News reported that Jewel has hired a backup singer named Donna De Lory. More news when available
