Jewel's album is now available for pre-order online at Amazon.com. The
initial release will be a special, limited edition package including the

the initial package would include a bonus DVD and apologizes for any
confusion this may have caused. You can pre-order Jewel's next album now

This week on the official site (jeweljk.com) there are some photos of a concert that took place last year. These photos were taken at the Interlochen Fine Arts Academy in Michigan. Jewel graduated from Interlochen in 1992.
"Intuition, Jewel's first single from her forthcoming album, is now
available as an audio stream at jeweljk.com. You'll find it at Jewel's
home page now, located at:

There's also an e-card available that includes the music, a message from
Jewel about the album, and that's not all! "Intuition" is being
simultaneously released as Jewel's first-ever "digital single." For 99
cents you can download a high-quality MP3 file of the song; then listen to
it on your computer, transfer it to a player, or burn to a CD. You can get
it here:
Well I hear it for the first time this morning, and I listened to it again. The song is certainly different than anything on This Way. I think it could be a successful single. The background music is pretty good. I was quite skeptical when I first heard about the change in style. This song is much more Britney SpearsISH than anything Jewel has done before. Normally that would be an insult, but it actually works. Its like the adult version of Britney Spears.
The one question in my mind is the lyrics. I need to listen to the song a few more times to get the context right. I'm not one to pick up on lyrics the first few times through... what I do pick out does not sound good right now.
In short, the music is good. The lyrical content has the jury still out.

There is a small photo of Jewel and a quote in the April issue of Cosmo
Girl, "Beauty Music" on page 113. You'll also find a photo of Jewel in US
Weekly's Oscar edition. With so much paparazzi at the Oscars, you'll also
possibly find Jewel popping up in other media coverage of the Oscars and
surrounding events.
