I revised the jewel biography on this site and published it as an Acrobat PDF file. (Adobe Reader)

As usual, other versions of the bio are behind. I tend to update the HTML version once or twice a year. I'll be due again around Christmas.

In this version, I added two new chapters including tour dates for 0304, more information about the Schick deal, and information about Jewel's change of management. The bio will continue to be a work in progress.

I will be upgrading the server on and off today. A new build of freebsd and java will be installed. Java is used for the RSS content feeds on this site and exclusively on justjournal.com

I'll have to reboot the server twice in the process.

Someone is impersonating my mail server and sending large amounts of spam. Looking at the few full headers i received it appears they are coming from the loopback meaning we can't track this guy. He must be sending them from a unix box and hitting people (he is using my email address as the return address causing a lot of mail).

I want to assure everyone this is not coming from me. My mail server is fairly locked down. I do not allow open relay. In addition i have several layers of spam defense including spam assasign, RBL lists, etc. I even virus scan file attachments! I also delete exe, scr, and com files coming into my network under all circumstances.

News articles on this site are now formatted cleaner. It should be much easier to read.

Older articles may look odd as they were not formatted for this setup. There are almost 800 of them now. I still need to fix bugs with the RSS content feeds.
