Jewel performed Who Will Save Your Soul and You Were Meant For Me at the celebration in Nashville, Tn. As many of you may recall, Jewel performed at the Democratic National Convention a few years back. Luckily, Vice President Gore did not say anything stupid this time like "I invented the Internet." I was expecting something like "I invented MTV" since Jewel was performing.

Nashville, Tn.: Jewel will perform at 11AM EST at the official announcement of the VP Canidate for the Democrats. Jewel has noted that she will not be appearing at the Democratic National Convention, however.

Jewel will perform August 4th to raise money for the U.S. Olympic Equestrian Team. 3,000 tickets will be sold to the general pubic. They can be purchased on ticketmaster.com. The concert will be held at Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Tickets are $17.50 and the concert starts at 6PM Pacific Time.

Stand And Be Counted is a book and film by David Crosby. The focus involves raising awareness about social activism in music to the youth of America. The film will be aired in two parts on The Learning Channel on August 22nd and 23rd.

The manuscript has been completed. The selection process has started for the layout, cover, etc. There is some speculation that never before seen Jewel Artwork may appear in the book.
