Just want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. More updates to the site will appear shortly. I have recently moved the site to a dedicated ISDN connection at my home. It is running on a Windows 2000 Server with IIS 5. I have also moved the news from an access database to a SQL Server for performance improvement and ease of administration. I am hoping the changes will allow me to make this site more fun and organized.

Four new quicktime files have been added to the download area. Two are clips from live performances of WWSYS and the other two are clips from video shoots for YWMFM including one rare unreleased version.

Tonight I have added nine classic real audio files that were floating around a few years ago. Please note that Deep Water and Absence of Fear are versions prior to the release of Spirit. Chime Bells contains some yodeling, which is always a treat. More Real Audio and Quicktime files to come!

November 6th, Jewel will tape a Christmas Concert for TNN entitled SheMerry Christmas Special. The event will start airing on December 7th.

Its almost Halloween and Jewel announced she will perform at Westwood Village (near UCLA) in Westwood, CA. Unfortunetely it is for a Democratic Presidential Rally. Of course the event is open to the public and starts at 5:30PM PST. Young people remember to vote! Do not let celebraties sway your vote. Vote your mind!

Jewel will be performing in the following locations: Nov 15, Escondido Perforing Arts Center, Escondido CA; Nov16, Cerritos Performing Arts Center, Cerritos CA; Nov 15, Fox Theater, Stockton CA; Nov 18, Luther Burbank Center, Santa Rosa CA.

Chasing Down the Dawn Book Reading Event takes place Nov. 26 in NYC on 92nd Street Y. 1395 Lexington Ave. CSPAN sometimes covers 92nd ST Y events, so it may be broadcast as well.

The contest with Jmerch and Comcast Cable ended in August. The winner, Sharon Brooks, won an autographed Taylor Jewel Signature Guitar.
