Jewel's management released a statement confirming Jewel's three episode appearance on the Lyon's Den. The Lyon's Den airs this fall on NBC.

According to tv-now.com, Jewel will play a lawyer with the Justice Department who used to date Rob Lowe's character. There is a heated confrontation in the court room when the two battle from opposite ends of the bench.

This seems like a very different role for Jewel.. even odd. You would think they would want the woman from "Legally Blonde." If these reports are true about this show, it will be nice to see if Jewel can act. Her role in Ride with the devil was terrible so who knows for sure. Of course, everyone's role sucked in that movie because the writing was terrible. Toby went on to play Spider-man perfectly, so it wasn't the actors fault.

MrBB retired from Jewel's team recently. Here is his final message:

***FAREWELL FROM MrBB

Hi All,

This is a difficult message for me to write. I guess I should start by
saying it's been an amazing adventure being MrBB for the past 8 years. But
like all good things eventually, this alter-ego phase of my life is coming
to an end. I've had many unforgettable experiences and some of the most
enjoyable have been the opportunities I've had to meet many of you at
events and concerts over the years.

I plan to expand my work in independant recording archive management and
audio engineering, which is where my true passion has always been. I'm
most comfortable behind the scenes working directly with music and helping
facilitate the creative process.

It's Jewel's creative process and prolific nature that has always
intrigued me and how she applies it to recording and performing that
maintains my interest and respect. I may stay on in this capacity, but
will no longer be involved in other areas, including the websites,
calendar management or communicating to you through JeweLink. These areas
are now in the very capable hands of her new management.

Theres been some ups and downs over the years, but overall, its been a
genuine honor to work for all of you. You've been fascinating, hilarious
and quite the challenge at times, but in my experience, you remain the
most thoughtful and intelligent fanbase on the planet.

I wish you all the best and hope to run into many of you again. Take care
of each other and stay passionate about music.

Someone recently contacted me about a CD they found used. It was called "D D Delight" with Jewel on the album cover. The CD cost around 9 dollars used. It had about 8 songs on it.

Someone mentioned something about this disc previously to me as well. They claimed it was a bootleg disc.

This fall, NBC will release a new show called "The Lyon's Den." The series stars Rob Lowe.

According to eonline.com, Jewel will appear in three episodes as an ex-girlfriend to Rob Lowe's character.
