It is quite difficult to contact Jewel these days. Her e-mail form was removed from the official website (jeweljk.com). The only address listed on Jeweljk.com is for fansrule and I believe it is only used for customer service issues with the pay features of the site.

Possible avenues of contacting Jewel include using her last known postal address and contacting atlantic records PR department.

The older albums also have an email address of jeweljk@aol.com. I don't know if thats still good. I believe it was monitored by her old management.

I would recommend writing on jeweljk.com's message board your desire to contact jewel and the lack of information on this subject. I get emails almost everyday begging me to get through to Jewel about one thing or another. I don't have the contacts to do that. One letter was from a man who had a sister paralysed in a car accident. He wanted Jewel to add a tour date in that town. Another man emailed me today asking for an autographed picture to be sent to his fiance. He is serving in Iraq and wants her to know he cares.

These e-mails are very sincere and sometimes difficult to read. I just wish we had a place to send them! I used to forward messages to the appropriate contact points, but I can't do that anymore.

The february news articles have been posted for 2004. I will look through my email tomorrow for info from january.

I've also notices shortcomings in the new news layout. I will try to add a recent article list similar to MSNBC. I also plan to add article voting later.

I finished a new news entry system that makes it easier for me to add news articles. I should be able to update the news more frequently again. I have all entries for march and april entered into the system. I need to add some of the february entries. All entries for january and early february were lost with the hard drive crash.

Aside from the guest book, message board and post cards I believe the site is working again. After I get the guest book working, I plan on uploading some old multimedia files I just came across. I burned them on a CD in 1999 and they include real audio and video performances from several talk shows and other appearances. I also found a website full of old multimedia files i used to mirror for someone. I plan on putting those on an ftp server that people can use to retrieve them. I may also link them on the website (using http for transfers) at some point. Almost all of this content is in real format which is dying. It is a shame that we may lose the ability to play it someday. Most of this still i didn't even encode. I was asked to mirror it or it was part of my personal collection.

The message board needs to be rewritten in .NET to accomodate the request made several months ago to make a good board. I plan on using code from my justjournal project which i started working on again.

This summer I will be taking one course at western, Linear Algrebra. Aside from homework, i should have free time to work on both sites.

I finished my last final yesterday for CS112 (Computer Science) for the term. I've now completed two semesters at Western Michigan University. I've got an associates degree in Computer Science already. I started at western as a junior. I've finally got time to fix this site!
