Due to a recent back injury, Jewel will unfortunately have to postpone her upcoming tour dates. The singer will reschedule her upcoming California shows that were planned for July 17, 18, 19 and 20, at a later date. Refunds for ticket holders will be available at point of purchase.

Jewel announced last month that a new, self produced album is in the works. It has been described as a Pieces of You II with a mix of studio and live recordings.

Jewel served as an ambassador for the ReThink: Why Housing Matters initiative. She appeared in the initiative's public service announcement, which encouraged Americans to reconsider their views on public housing and how it benefits people in their own communities.
Jewel released a greatest hits album including a rework of You Were Meant for Me with the Pistol Annies and a new rendition of Foolish Games with Kelly Clarkston.
This isn't the first time Jewel performed Foolish Games with another artist. Previously, Jewel did a VH1 Duets with Melissa Etheridge and they performed Foolish Games.
